Are you passionate about every child's right to play?


We have two opportunities for some wonderful humans to join the Project Play team - one as a ground team coordinator, and one as part of our board of trustees. For both roles, we are particularly looking for people with skills, expertise or interest in advocacy.

Communications & Partnerships Coordinator

Ground Team, Calais

 

Join our hard-working team in providing play and education sessions for children on the move in northern France. You will be joining a team of 4 coordinators and 3 - 8 volunteers, who are collectively responsible for planning, preparing and delivering play sessions in a highly changeable context.


This role falls within our advocacy axis - as such, you will work closely with members of our remote advocacy team to support the work we do to campaign for the rights of the children we work with, guided by our principles of empowering, participative and rights-based advocacy. You will lead particularly on our public communications and engagement with journalists and key stakeholders, as well as building partnerships and expanding our networks with organisations in northern France, and further afield.


You will be over 18, fluent in both French and English and have strong interpersonal skills. Our ideal candidate will have experienced in communications, advocacy or campaigning, or affinity with these fields and the willingness to learn quickly.

Board Members

Board of Trustees, remote

 

We're looking for new trustees to join our board to support the sustainability and safe running of Project Play - particularly those with experience in advocacy and/or fundraising.

This role requires a commitment of 1-3 hours per month worked on a remote, voluntary basis.


If you are a strong team player and have expertise or experience which could help us strengthen our service, we'd love to hear from you.
